Mindful Café Wetherby is an intimate morning mindfulness group where you can enjoy guided meditations followed by a lovely healthy breakfast in beautiful surroundings overlooking the river Wharfe in Wetherby. A great way to start the day.

 

Join Sharon & Shona as we take a break from these turbulent times and find some inner peace and calm. Come and find out what it’s like to rest in awareness and create some quiet inner space in our lives.

 

Mindfulness meditation practice has been scientifically proven to help us to cope with stress, keep depressions at bay and boost our compassion for ourselves and others. For those who don’t meditate regularly the thought of starting can seem daunting, joining a small group of likeminded people might be the answer.

 

Benefit from the expert guidance of our qualified, mindfulness meditation teacher, Sharon, who will gently lead us through some simple and effective practices. Afterwards you will have an opportunity to relax and chat, whilst Shona and the team serve a lovely healthy breakfast in this beautiful, quaint English Cottage Coffee shop overlooking the river Wharfe.

 

The group will be very small as we are committed to keeping everyone COVID safe, we will ask you to sit at a safe distance and wear your mask during the mindfulness meditation session.

 

What to bring?

Bring a curious mind and an open heart, and prepare to relax and rejuvenate your mind.

You may wish to wear something comfortable and bring a cushion and a shawl, but this is optional. 

A COVID mask/face covering is required but nothing else is needed.
